A New addition to the 'Family'.

Well after many hours travelling time, we brought the new 'baby' home. Yes, this new addition to the machine family that resides here at Heritage Keepsakes, is my new Singer Featherweight. After looking into the details on these little rockets, and realising just how great a support act it could be to the 'Big' machines here, I just had to have one. It's a great little machine for sewers on the move, as it is lightweight to lift, which makes it ideal for sewing retreats or classes. It's other outstanding virtue is, it only sews a straight stitch. This means it is a very accurate straight stitch, which makes it ideal for piecing on. Can't wait to put it through it's paces later on this week when I head to Ash's house for the next sewing session.
