With 90 minutes to spare before pumpkin hour (midnight, 31st Aug), my challenge piece made it to the finish line. Phew!! Am I happy I ditched the first go at this? Absolutely!! This piece, which by no means is show worthy (did I hear you say perfectionist?), has definitely taken a leap forward in improvement of technique. I had a couple of epiphanies while quilting this. It was as if I had discovered the wheel! Metaphorically speaking of course. Is it a hooked feather? Mmmmmmm....., No. But it's a feather!! And I just love feathers.-Julie.
