Fun, Food and Fabric!!

Today a few of us got together for a bit of a quilting session. With plenty of inspiration, (not only of the fabric kind) much was accomplished. Just one of the quilts that came for a 'show and tell', was Zig's quilt. This beautiful quilt, is even better than the photo shows. I have to mention, this is Zig's first quilt that she has made! The dollies are all hand appliqued, and the chequered border, compliments beautifully, the colours and style she has chosen. We are all eagerly waiting to see what she produces with quilt number 2!! A second quilt that was shown, was a very pretty quilt from Jade. Watch the blog for a future picture, as it is currently here at Heritage Keepsakes, getting ready to be loaded for quilting.
With the buzz of sewing machines going in the background, and lot's of brain storming taking place, a little refreshment is sometimes needed to re-charge the creative flow. Plenty of cups of tea, chocolate and other goodies were the fare of the day. A very productive day ensued, with another planned for the future.
