The Ever Dependable Split Nine Patch

Well, after 15 hours in the sewing room, (and a bag of raspberry bullets), I finished a queen size quilt top. I think I have exhausted all avenues with the split nine patch, but I think this is my best, and favourite, one yet. Here is a picture of it hanging at my mums place. The coloured fabric is TERRAIN by Kate Spain for Moda. ( I love quilts that make an impact on the eye.) This fabric was similar to FANGDANGO, (also by Kate Spain), another impact pattern. It is to be quilted in a variegated hot pink colour so when that is done I will load a photo of it quilted. Into the stash of "To Be Continued...." it will go.
